It is used to determine the solar radiation incident on the plane in which it is placed, which normally coincides with that of the photovoltaic field. It is made of crystalline silicon and is encapsulated in the same way as the modules. On the back it has a box from which a bipolar cable comes out (with the positive and negative marked), and a label that provides the exact value of the calibration.
